I love making up words in english, as i do in italian actually as well.

what a day today, and it is not over yet, but in the end it has been quite productive, around 10% of what i was supposed to do (considering that i would nee 480 hours to do everything is pretty impressive)

i'll never complain anymore for those period in my life, when nothing happens and you tend to complain about how eventless and mellow is the daily routine.. NEVER!

today i woke up and discovered to have few more rocks falling on my head, I had to go back and forth lab home and lab to meet the FEDEX guy and then I basically generated all the figures for a paper.. incredible!!!
I need to work on my thesis.. (did i say how much i hate it yet? i don't think on the blog, but it is the leit motiv of my speeches lately :) yeah kinda lame..)
but the only thing i was worried about walking home on mass ave, in a wonderful not too cold night was to find my hat..
my awesome handknitted huge greyish reaaaally old hat, which used to belong to my wonderful nonnina egle. I was sure to have it with me when i left the apartment and it was nowhere in my lab!

as soon i stepped in my room i found it there on the floor, of course :), looking at me and gave me suddendly peace.

eggià, no matter what happens here, these are the small things I care the most, and give me peace. the picture of my family on the nightstand, the leather gloves my mom gave me for christmas, the hat of my grandmother and a relaxing song in my hear.
and forget about the stress, the infinite deadline and things to do, the stress for the VISA, for the papers to write, the thesis to finish, the big change of life and work that is getting real and i'm not getting ready enough for it..
at least almost :)

ok sticky enough this post, now back to my awesome thesis.. did i mention that i want to puke after 10 minutes I read it? :)
