so, i just got back from Vienna..
i've been there 3 times so far, and since the first 2 times i was still in my "obsissive compulsive" period, i managed to see EVERYTHING of the city.. so i'll list some statistics..
Vienna, a city where
the 99% of available food are cakes and breads, those breads with lots of seeds and nuts inside.. that i just looove, but i gave up those until the end of the month.. :(
the 99% of women are not shorter than 175 cm and weigh no more than 50 kg, and i gave up to be like that too :)
the 99% of tourists, unfortunately!!!, are ITALIAN.. and basically all high school trips (ARGGHHHH) loud and unbearable..
the 99% of public transportation are always on perfect time, besides obviously our train to get to the airport that stopped for 20 minutes at one point since there was a drunkard and the traindriver actually got out of his cabin, came in the train and called the ambulance so we had to wait all that time for the ambulance to arrive and "take care" of this drunk man.. in italy they would have kicked his...
the 99% of time of the week has been spent around in Vienna (^-^).. and not somewhere else..
the 99% of meals in the restaurant are based on meat meat meat and meat, so if you are vegetarian and planning to go to vienna .. be ready to have hard times to find something that was not walking before to be in your dish..
the 99% of the fluid drank was beer (in a country were 0,5 liter of beer costs 3 euro, and a glass of water 2... you obviously go for the beer..)
and the 99% of the souvenir shops are Chocolate shops.. full of any sorts of chocolate chocolate chocolate!!
the 99% of the company met there was awesome (guys we know who was the 1% don't we?!?! :) )

I don't know if i'll be back to Vienna next year, or at least if i'll be back there for the EGU, but surely i'm planning to go there sometime in the future.. and more specifically NOT in a period during which i gave up sweets and breads...
